Tour of Broken Bay Pearl Farm at 12 Kowan Rd Mooney Mooney commencing at 1.30pm on 22nd November.
Cost of $60 per person
We will meet at the venue.
The tour includes an incorporation of their 3 most popular tours, namely;
- 1 hour cruise on Hawkesbury River to see the oyster leases where pearl farm is located.
- 30 min Secrets of pearling Slideshow about the history of pearling and how pearls are grown
- 30 min Pearl grading OR Oyster tasting
Please be sure to nominate when you register whether you wish to:
- taste oysters or
- learn how the farmer grades (i.e. prices) the pearls.
Payment is required by November 7th i.e. the day before our November General Members' Meeting.
Numbers are limited to a maximum of 30 people so please register early and pay by the required date.
Arrangements will be made for drinks or early/light dinner following the tour at each participant's own cost.
